From the Market

The increase of the tourism, that was also triggered by Expo, has been continuing during 2017 and will end up with a 200.000 more tourists, who visited the city, than in 2016.

This has someway influenced the City residential sector, in particular the alternative offers to the traditional hotels, like residence hotels and Airbnb. This increase was mainly driven by the short-term rentals, 2-4 days, which grew about 80%. An aspect more to take into consideration for those who want to buy an home as an investment in the new Milan.
